Ipragaz has chosen Siemens as partner, together with FIT, to meet new additional hardware requirements in a cost-efficient manner. Siemens has supplied Fujitsu Siemens hardware to run SAP ECC 6.0 Test, QA and Production on Solaris/Oracle instead of the current HP-UX/Oracle platform. Within the project scope, all production systems (ECC, CRM, BI, IS-U) have been copied to test systems in order to identify problems that might arise during migration to the production environment. Next, the HP-UX/Oracle ECC 6.0 system has been migrated to the Solaris/Oracle platform by certified FIT consultants. After 1 month test phase, the production system has been migrated from HP-UX/Oracle to Solaris/Oracle platform by certified FIT consultants. FIT's BASIS Cockpit tool has been installed to analyze capacity usage and enable comparisons between the old and new systems. FIT employs some of the few certified OS/DB migration consultants in Turkey, and our certified consultants have realised the migration process sucessfully, with Siemens as collaboration partner. |
April 2009 - FIT has completed the OS/DB Migration of IPRAGAZ SAP ERP systems in collaboration with Siemens.
